Plagiarism Policy
Plagiarism Policy
In active scientific research publishing, the peer-review process plays a significant role. The obvious and effective peer-review approach is guaranteed by International Research Journal of Science and Technology (IRJST). Our Journal will assist the scientific community in all aspects of publishing ethics, especially in cases of plagiarism, to ensure this.
Meaning of Plagiarism
Plagiarism is the “wrongful appropriation” and “stealing and publication” of the “language, thoughts, ideas, or expressions” of another author and the rendering of them as the initial work of one. Academic dishonesty and a violation of journalistic integrity is called plagiarism. Regulations such as sanctions, suspension, and even dismissal are subject to it.
Instruction for Authors
Any type of plagiarism and duplicate submissions are not encouraged by IRJST. Therefore, before sending it to our journals for publication, we highly urge our authors to verify the quality of the article thoroughly. We request our authors to use “Plagiarism Checking software’s” as a preliminary step to verify plagiarism before submission, although they are not fully accurate.
Our Journal Plagiarism Policy
Before publishing online, IRJST will assess plagiarism for all submitted articles. If plagiarism is found at any point of the publishing process by editors, peer reviewers or editorial staff, it may be rejected on the basis of the plagiarism percentile that occurred and the author would be informed.
Similarity/Duplicate Check
Similarity Search is a multi-publisher initiative for originality screening of published and submitted content. The Plagiarism software is used by IRJST to recognize instances of overlap and related text in submitted manuscripts. Wherever you see the logos for “Similarity Check Deposited” or “Similarity Check Depositor,” you can be confident that the publisher whose material you are reading is committed to vigorously battling plagiarism and publishing original research.
